Spiš Castle (13th century)
situated in the picturesque countryside of Eastern Slovakia. Experience the unique treasures of this yet undiscovered area: Historical landmarks like Gothic cathedrals, Baroque castles, fortresses and historic wooden churches, National Parks with rolling hills or sky-high peaks, wild rivers and historic towns with their romantic city centers.
Wooden churches built in late Gothic-style, adorned with ancient frescos, are among the exquisite sights of Eastern Slovakia. Spiš Castle – only 12 km from Péchy – forms the largest fortress site in Central Europe (UNESCO World Heritage). In the nearby town of Levoča, you will be fascinated by the highest wooden Gothic altar of the world, created by Master Paul in the St. Jacob’s Basilica (12th -14th century), and by the town’s Gothic and Renaissance buildings.
Other historical sights of our region are: Bardejov, a historical landmark to the east, with its famous main square and Gothic St. Aegidius Basilica. In Stará Ľubovňa - on the way to the wonderful river-rafting experience on the quiet river Dunajec - exciting medieval knightly games are annually organized in the castle, which was built in the 13th century.
Košice and Prešov are cities of many historical monuments, beautiful historical centers, charming atmosphere, local colour, and good shopping possibilities.

No wonder – because if you tear yourself away from this oasis, you will find yourself in the midst of spectacular nature with much to discover: Hills and mountains invite you to go hiking and Nordic walking, beautiful country and forest paths to go cycling, wild rivers for fishing and river rafting, nearby slopes for horseback-riding, alpine or cross-country skiing.
Experience the picturesque landscape from a height: in good weather, we can offer balloon rides directly from our park. Or drive to Raznany airport (only 5 miles away) and enjoy a flight in the Viper SD-4 ultralight by TOMARK, equipped with modern digital technology.
Eastern Slovakia is also an excellent hunting region with a long history. Each year, passionate hunters have the opportunity to hunt for red deer, roe deer and wild boar in the family forest as well as in other neighbouring hunting grounds. We will be happy to inform you about our special offers.
And last but not least: Our extensive park offers comfortable playing areas for boccia and croquet, tennis, volleyball and badmington - ideal outdoor games for families and friends.
